This role offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate with a strong background in corporate tax, looking to further their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Undertake fee-earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the division.
• Deliver high-quality commercial legal service ensuring personal compliance with quality standards and professional ethics.
• Act as an ambassador for the firm, promoting it in a positive light at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients via email and telephone, taking instructions and providing guidance.
• Undertake document reviews, record findings, and assist with general case management and the day-to-day running of matters.
• Assist with business development activities, including updating and maintaining marketing lists and materials.
• Prepare documents to establish share incentive schemes for clients and handle applications to HMRC for S/EIS relief, preparing certificates for investors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years post-qualification experience in tax law.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• IT literate, confident user of MS Office.
• Ability to manage a busy workload with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
• Confidence in client-facing meetings and communications.
• Attention to accuracy and detail.
• Receptive to facilitate and support change.
• Comfortable working under pressure with the ability to plan and prioritise work; commercially aware.
