Associate Marketplace Consultant, Marketplace

Are you passionate about e-commerce? Are you looking to join a community of business development professionals that supports the growth of small and medium-sized businesses? Amazon, one of the world's leaders in e-commerce, is looking for an Account Manager (business-development professional) to join its Third-Party Marketplace team based in Dubai, UAE.

Working in a dynamic business development environment, your role will focus on contributing to new business acquisition through lead generation, business evaluation via phone/email, and supporting the launch of new sellers-helping them make their products available to millions of Amazon/Souq customers. You should possess strong relationship-building skills and be able to explore win-win opportunities with partners, helping them grow their business on Amazon. Additionally, you will incorporate seller feedback into initiatives to improve Amazon's products, services, processes, and tools for third-party sellers, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

To succeed in this role, you need excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. You should be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, taking full responsibility for achieving business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Be your seller partners' consultant, providing data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success and growth.
  2. Manage your portfolio toward a growth plan, identifying key business opportunities by analyzing trends, popular brands, and pricing strategies.
  3. Conduct deep dive analyses on issues affecting seller performance and provide feedback for product development and process improvements.
  4. Educate selling partners about Amazon's high standards of delivery and customer experience.
  5. Track, report, and analyze business development results, publishing recommendations and action plans.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to align programs and initiatives for portfolio growth.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Negotiation and sales skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability through professional experience or education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a track record of achieving goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Beauty or Personal Care category.
  • Master's Degree in Management, Business, or related field.
  • Previous experience in account management, product marketing, or management consulting.
  • E-Commerce or Retail experience in GCC region.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL, and tools like Oracle Business Intelligence, Salesforce is a plus.
