Associate Manager, Investment Operations - PGIM Ireland Letterkenny - Hybrid 2/3 days in the office

PGIM, the global asset management business of Prudential Financial, Inc., is looking for an Associate Manager in the Private Equity Accounting Unit to join the Alternative Assets - Portfolio Administration and Accounting team. The role is based in our Letterkenny office on a hybrid basis.

What you will do

• Maintain investment, accounting, reporting, and record keeping systems to support PGIM Business Units.
• Collect documents and review the financial statements of Limited Partnerships/Joint Ventures.
• Supervise a small team of approximately 2-3 accountants and provide guidance and feedback.
• Ensure a timely and accurate review of accounting entries and ledger reconciliations.
• Apply STAT and GAAP accounting rules for Other Invested Assets.
• Coordinate and monitor all daily and monthly deliverables.
• Participate in various analysis and special projects.
• Monitor data integrity.
• Support external and internal audit reviews.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• Excellent experience in Accounting/Investment Operations, with supervisory experience mandatory.
• Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritise tasks in a deadline oriented, fast paced environment.
• Strong accounting, research, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to understand and analyse basic accounting principles and financial statements.

What will set you apart

• Public accounting experience and/or CPA.
• Private Equity experience.
• Familiarity with Prudential systems such as Oracle Ledger, Investran, MRI.
