We're seeking a driven and experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join our growing Mission Critical team in Southampton, delivering cutting-edge Data Centre projects across the UK and internationally.

Your Impact:As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the electrical design and delivery of high-performance, high-availability data centre projects. You'll work in collaboration with world class engineers, architects, and clients, driving technical excellence from concept through to commissioning.
What You'll Be Doing:- Lead electrical engineering design across all project stages-from feasibility and concept design through to construction and commissioning
- Deliver robust LV and MV electrical systems, including power distribution, backup systems, UPS, lighting, and containment
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi disciplinary teams
- Ensure designs meet client specifications, project requirements, and industry standards
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Act as a key client contact-building trusted relationships and ensuring successful outcomes
- Support bids, team resourcing, and technical development across the team
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards CEng)
- Strong experience in electrical design for Data Centres, critical infrastructure, or large scale commercial/industrial projects
- Proficiency in tools such as Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and AutoCAD
- Excellent understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (BS7671, IEC, etc.)
- Clear communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Work on globally significant projects with leading edge technologies
