Associate Director, Private Clients

Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Private Client team in Jersey. The role involves managing a portfolio of private clients, overseeing various trust structures, and ensuring excellent service delivery. Working closely with the team, this role focuses on leadership, client relationship management, and regulatory compliance, playing a pivotal role in driving business objectives and ensuring adherence to operational standards. This is a permanent hybrid position, requiring 35 hours per week.

Job Duties:

1. Contribute to the development of regulatory, compliance, and risk management policies and procedures.
2. Oversee the management of client portfolios and provide advice aligned with internal processes.
3. Act as a director and alternate director for client companies and attend client and board meetings as needed.
4. Manage team performance to meet business goals and targets.
5. Deliver effective communication within the team, offering regular updates to align with business strategies.
6. Foster key client relationships and contribute to cross-selling opportunities.
7. Provide guidance and development opportunities for team members to ensure consistent growth and high performance.
8. Maintain service delivery standards and ensure alignment with organisational values.

Job Requirements:

1. Experience in a similar role within the private client sector.
2. Holding a JFSC Category A status with a Table 4 qualification.
3. Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.
4. Effective communication abilities and the capacity to inspire and develop team members.
5. Capability to assess situations and implement appropriate solutions.
6. Experience working collaboratively in a team setting.
