Associate Director, People & Process TransformationThe role of the Associate Director, People and Process Transformation is to strategically lead and oversee significant people and process transformation programs, ensuring the integrated design and execution of change management, digital fluency and digital mindset capability development, advanced business analysis, and process redesign efforts. This role is responsible for driving the adoption of new ways of working and optimizing critical business processes across the life sciences CMC value chain, and for contributing to the strategic direction and capability development of the department.
With the support of the People and Process Transformation Director, this role will take accountability for sub-sections of the programme to deliver return on investment of the transformation utilising a combination of change management, process definition/design and business analysis skills, simultaneously developing strategy and plans for both the people and process elements of the transformation.
In this role you will- Design and implement strategic change management and communications plans to ensure successful adoption and cultural transformation for complex programmes.
- Lead organisational digital capability development, fostering digital fluency and a strategic mindset across the company.
- Direct process transformation initiatives, applying advanced business analysis and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage a centre of excellence for process documentation and redesign, providing guidance and coaching to Business Process Owners and team members for sustained change.
- Drive creation and maintenance of knowledge maps to inform critical decision-making and collaborate with educational groups to prepare future ready scientists.
- Lead and mentor cross functional teams, proactively managing risks, resources, and stakeholder alignment to achieve transformation objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Life Sciences, Communications, Business Operations, or a closely related analytical field.
- Leadership experience in both strategic change management/organizational development AND advanced business process analysis/improvement, with extensive experience specifically within the pharmaceutical CMC environment.
- Experience in leading strategic partnerships with technology organizations for solution integration and digital transformation.
- Experience in translating complex scientific/business strategies into clear operational plans and technology requirements, and vice versa, for diverse audiences.
- Experience in advanced business analysis and process modelling techniques and in applying various change management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in program management, including strategic planning, execution, and risk management across multiple initiatives.
- Master's degree (e.g., MBA with a focus on Operations or Change Management, Organizational Psychology, Process Engineering) or relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP, CBAP).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high performing cross functional teams.
- Exceptional executive level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate organizational vision into actionable, impactful plans.
