About the roleDeloitte Legal is building its Contracts Operate team and is now hiring new joiners into the team based in our London office. One such opportunity is an Associate Director with multiple years of proven legal/contracts outsourcing, managed services and operating experience.
Responsibilities- Supporting sales and the growth of Operate service line but with an eye towards transformation and use of AI;
- Leading based on experience and implementing the strategic direction for Operate;
- Maintaining and continuously improving the best in class Operate services;
- Understanding client expectations and translating into practical, implementable project objectives, which aim to provide integrated, total solutions;
- Generating innovative ideas that are strategically sound and challenging the status quo;
- Providing high quality, pragmatic, clear, and commercially focused advice;
- Managing and advising stakeholders from across our clients' business;
- Developing and nurturing long-term partner relationship with client top management;
- Recording comprehensive and high-quality management information for clients;
- Working with and delivering data analytics to our clients;
- Ensuring the effective and efficient performance of work in compliance with service levels and KPIs;
- Assist with appropriate supervision activities and programs (including quality assurance) for more junior or less experienced team members;
- Providing relevant training to team members and acting as a point of escalation from team members dealing with more complex project issues;
- Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution.
- Experience of organizational assessment, process review, re-engineering, and technology enablement;
- A good understanding of the challenges and requirements of an in-house legal and/or contract management team;
- Experience in leading complex projects/programs of work;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences;
- Experience in the development and utilization of know-how, guidelines and training materials and promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
- High-level proficiency with office and project management tools, including MS Office package and SharePoint;
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to use initiative;
- The ability to work autonomously;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently and to a high quality within the defined timelines;
- Confident, motivated, and professional manner;
- Experience in supervision, coaching, and training more junior team members;
- Experience in change and project management;
- Takes personal ownership of self-improvement;
- To be a team player and natural networker;
