Job Description

I am looking for an Associate Director Asset Management (water) for a global consultancy (London, Manchester or Birmingham hybrid working).

You will be:

  1. Delivering large, complex client engagements, operating at board level and the level below.
  2. Focusing the deployment of asset management capability on client engagement.
  3. Managing the use and development of Asset Management tools and methodologies across the team and within client engagements.
  4. Engaging with global teams, including the Global Asset Management community, to leverage resources and capabilities, developing robust approaches to the supporting service lines.
  5. Managing the day-to-day relationship with key client contacts, ensuring our service is responsive to their needs.
  6. Proactively keeping up to date with Asset Management thinking on a global level.
  7. Supporting the development of the brand with thought leadership and speaking engagements.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking water-focused asset management professionals who have experience applying their knowledge of asset management and asset health to solve business and engineering challenges.

The individual must be proactive, able to work at pace, and provide practical solutions that deliver value to our clients. They must have the ability to deal with ambiguity and to put in place frameworks to structure their thinking and communicate effectively to stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Demonstrate high levels of drive, ambition, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Be good team players who work with colleagues and have experience leading teams in a collaborative and inclusive way.
  3. Be comfortable handling ambiguity and responding to changing client demands.
  4. Experience engaging with Board-level representatives on strategic asset management topics.
  5. Demonstrate a good understanding of asset management challenges with a focus on Power & Utilities and Water.
  6. A good understanding of asset management principles and how to apply them to address business challenges.
  7. Assessing and understanding risks at both a business and an asset portfolio level.

What's on Offer

£100,000 - £110,000 PA DOE plus car allowance, bonus, and benefits.
