Associate Director (AI)

• Salary: Up to £110,000 per annum (DOE)
• Hybrid: As and when required - willing and able to get to London.
• Location: Waterloo, London

About the Client and Role
Our client is one of the UK's most renowned and fastest growing IT Solutions organisations. They are seeking a Deputy Director of AI Solutions to serve as a strategic and technical leader, supporting the AI Solutions Director in driving enterprise-wide AI initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in AI Operations (AIOps), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and ITIL frameworks, combined with strong technical knowledge of infrastructure, Agentic AI, automation, and orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the deputy to the AI Solutions Director, ensuring alignment of AI strategy with organisational goals.
• Provide thought leadership support of the AI Solutions Director in delivering the vision of the department
• Lead design and implementation of AI-driven IT operations solutions, including AI-Ops platforms and automation frameworks and Conversational AI.
• Oversee integration of Agentic AI models for autonomous decision-making and orchestration across IT environments.
• Support the adoption of ITIL best practices within AI-enabled ITSM and ITOM processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver end-to-end orchestration solutions

Essential Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in solution architecture and technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional team leadership.
• Strong background in solutions architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with project management and solution delivery.
• Background screening and security clearance as required by organisation.
