An exciting Associate Quantum Director job in the construction sector to join a premium and large multidisciplinary consultancy in their Leeds office (hybrid working).
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Associate Director, Senior Consultant, or Managing Consultant with Quantum Analysis experience to further develop their career as a manager, work winner, and expert.
This role suits Senior Consultants seeking progression within quantum disputes or Associate Directors currently working in this field with extensive quantum experience.
The position involves working on complex construction conflicts, requiring strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantum Senior Consultant or an Associate Director in this specialty, managing a team of Quantum Consultants on multiple projects and aiming to grow their team and expertise.

- Lead drafting of expert witness reports for dispute resolution

- Review project records to establish quantum for claims/disputes
- Conduct forensic analysis of tender, contract, and claims documentation
- Manage stakeholders and chair meetings with clients and advisors
- Analyze project performance to identify root causes of issues
- Provide strategic advice throughout the construction cycle
- Manage cash flow proactively
Additional responsibilities include developing claims, guiding junior staff, and interfacing with clients and consultants at all project stages.
Desired Skills and Experience- 10+ years in construction and engineering industries
- Experience with claims as a contractor or senior QS/consultant
- Familiarity with dispute proceedings and adjudication
- Knowledge of contracts like NEC and JCT
- Proven ability to lead claims pursuits and negotiate resolutions
- Strong report writing skills
- BSc in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar
- Master's degree in construction law or related field preferred
- Chartered status (MRICS, MInstCES) or working towards it is a plus
