About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, organized Contracts Manager to support the Commercial Legal team in managing contracts, contract processes, and assisting with legal operations initiatives for commercial legal and cross-functional projects. This role combines contract administration, contract review and drafting, project coordination and process improvement responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in contract management, legal operations or project management.

The successful candidate will be confident working with stakeholders across the business, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and passionate about creating efficient processes and workflows. They will play a key role in supporting the contract lifecycle, driving operational improvements and helping ensure projects and contractual matters are delivered on time.

What You'll do: ContractReview,Management &Metrics
  • Review non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)and other simple agreementsin accordance withapproved playbooks and guidancewhilst developing confidence on negotiating and learning when to escape issues.
  • Manage contract intake, triage and routing through established legal processesandassistwith improving theseprocesses.
  • Coordinate internal approvals and execution processes, ensuring agreements are signed and completedin a timely manner.
  • Maintain contract and project dashboards,trackersand management information.
  • Monitor key metrics, including contract volumes, turnaround times, executiontimelinesand process performance.
  • Produce reports and insights to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational decision-making.
Process Improvement, Legal Operations & Automation
  • Support the development,documentationand continuous improvement of legal and contract management processes.Identifyopportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manualeffortand standardise ways of working.
  • Create andmaintainworkflows, process maps, guidancedocumentsand operational procedures.
  • Develop andmaintainproject plans, action trackers,timelinesand status reports.
  • Track project milestones,dependenciesand deliverables to ensure projectsremainon schedule,proactively managingfollow-ups and drivingaccountability amongst stakeholders to ensure actions are completed on time.
  • Act as a point of contact for routine business queries relating to legal processes, contractstatusand execution processes.
  • Support training and awareness initiatives relating to legal processes, contract managementtoolsand self-service resources.
Whatyou'llbring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a contracts, legal, operations, projectcoordinationor administrative role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple priorities and delivering work to deadlines.
  • Experience working within a legal department, legal operationsfunctionor commercial environment.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in creating efficient workflows, improvingprocessesand driving operational excellence.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability toidentifyrisks,inconsistenciesand opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion.
  • Resilience and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident and proactive approach, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levelsincludingholdingstakeholders accountable for actions and deadlines whilstmaintainingpositive working relationships.
  • Experience reviewing or managing NDAs and other commercial agreements.
  • Exposure to contract lifecycle management systems, legal technologyplatformsor e-signature tools.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, workflowdesignor automation initiatives.
