Job Description

We're currently seeking experienced and ambitious Associate Commercial Lead/Commercial Manager professionals to work with our client in a secure environment, supporting challenging and rewarding projects.

These contract roles require security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in London.

You will work across internal projects and teams, assessing requirements and managing solutions that meet customer needs, ensuring organisational excellence and compliance. You will showcase your skills on unique projects.

You will demonstrate responsiveness, efficiency, and professionalism in supporting the Commercial Lead, managing your own portfolio or workstreams, ensuring the delivery of goods and services. You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from specifications to contract management, and support continuous improvement and new opportunities to enhance customer offerings. Strong commercial acumen, influencing, negotiation, and people skills are essential.

With significant commercial expertise, your analytical skills and ability to balance risks will be critical. You will develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, prioritising delivery amidst complex activities. An enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and customer focus is vital.

Your qualifications, experience, skills, and behaviors:

As a top commercial professional, you will have:

  • Experience in commercial roles
  • Experience in sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management
  • Responsibility for contract and framework agreements
  • Experience across the project lifecycle
  • Knowledge of commercial planning and strategic documents
  • Understanding of buying, invoicing, billing, and contracts
  • Ability to achieve efficiencies and cost reductions
  • Data analysis skills
  • Contractual issue resolution
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience in technology or digital environments (preferred)

You should hold or be willing to attain a professional qualification like CIPS (Level 5) to demonstrate your expertise.
