Overview

Are you a qualified solicitor with a passion for professional indemnity matters?

Join our in-house law firm - Caytons, as an Associate, where you'll work closely with a Partner to manage a diverse caseload.

This role offers hybrid and remote working options.

How you'll make an impact

In this role, you'll handle a variety of professional indemnity cases, both pre-action and in litigation, under the guidance of a Partner. You'll collaborate with insurers, insureds, and other key stakeholders to ensure cases are managed effectively.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of professional indemnity matters, including pre-action and litigation cases.
  • Engaging directly with insurers, insureds, experts, and counsel.
  • Managing reserves and financials for each case.
  • Preparing detailed reports for insurers and insureds.
  • Undertaking secondments as agreed by the firm.
About you
  • You're a qualified solicitor with experience in professional indemnity matters as a panel solicitor.
  • You can manage client relationships professionally and work independently when needed.
  • You're a team player who is ready to contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
