Associate / Senior Associate - Agriculture & Estates - Cardiff - 4-8 years PQE

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid & Flexible)

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £50,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)

Overview

A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Agriculture & Estates team in Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow transactional work within a nationally recognised practice, supported by a collaborative team across contentious and non-contentious matters.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on sales, purchases and mortgages of agricultural land and property.
  • Advising on estate management and agricultural tenancies.
  • Handle tax and succession planning matters.
  • Manage conservation and natural capital projects.
  • Prepare biodiversity net gain agreements.
  • Develop and maintain specialist knowledge.
  • Collaborate across the wider team.
  • Engage in business development and referral opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
  • 4 8 years PQE.
  • Experience in agricultural law or broader property work.
  • Strong technical and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Ambition, organisation and a proactive mindset.
