The Operations DX/AI & Transformation Office is a newly established team responsible for supporting Operations to enhance productivity and will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, safety & soundness. The team will leverage tools such as business process reengineering (BPR), a broad range of digitalisation (DX) tools including automation, OCR, document management, artificial intelligence and workflow solutions.

Main Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an experienced DX & AI Delivery Specialist with broad skills including strong business analysis and extensive experience in low code platforms to build solutions for Operations, in collaboration with partners across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Re engineering: Identify & review processes, clearly articulate the problem statement, analyse requirements and identify an appropriate solution. Prepare 'as is' and 'to be' design & process flow diagrams, summarise these at a 'management level' to articulate key points to build a business case.
  • Solution Delivery: Prototype, develop and execute solutions across a number of platforms, including Tungsten Automation (KTA/RPA), Power Platforms, including Power BI.
  • DX / AI Enablement - Actively promote GenAI solutions like Copilot to enable the business to drive benefits from these tools. Support the delivery of AI agents into Operations business flows.
  • Communications: Support the communications agenda for the programme, including key committee updates.
  • Horizon scanning: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI, digitalization, and broader transformation, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and consultants to leverage expertise and resources for project success.
  • Transformation Agent: Be a strong advocate for Change and Transformation to support Operation's strategy to provide timely, accurate and appropriate services.
Work Experience
  • Ideally consultancy background, with experience delivering similar transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing transformation initiatives, demonstrating successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion.
  • Proven experience in business analysis on a range of transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience with a range of transformation tools, including business process re engineering, automation, intelligent automation, etc., and their application to business processes.
Skills and Experience Functional / Technical Competencies
  • Extensive experience in automation tools, including Power Platforms, Process automation platforms (e.g. Tungsten Automation / KTA, RPA, PEGA, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboards, report creation & data visualization best practices for management reporting.
  • Good understanding of corporate & investment banking operating model, front to back, and the opportunities and challenges confronting the organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management and project delivery, and familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), able to communicate concepts clearly, concisely and accurately, adapting as required for the intended audience.
  • Sound stakeholder management skills with an ability to operate with individuals at all levels, with a proven ability to present and challenge.
  • Sound understanding of governance, risk and control frameworks, both for Change and the wider organisation.
  • Calm approach, with the ability to work well in a pressurised and fast paced environment, operate with urgency, manage large workloads, appropriately prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines.
