The Department of Humanities at SETU is seeking an organised and proactive, Assistant Staff Officer to join our growing administrative team to assist with the administration of the Professional Social Care Practice programme. As a key contributor to the department's operations, the successful candidate will support the administrative tasks for the delivery of high-quality services across teaching, research, and engagement activities on the Social Care programme, helping to advance SETU's mission of excellence, innovation, and regional impact. The Department of Humanities is seeking a Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer to work in this vibrant and dynamic department, as part of a team, supporting the Professional Social Care Practice programme to meet the goals and objectives of the programme and deliver quality services to learners and other key stakeholders. They will be responsible for the implementation and administration of work practices supporting the programme, practice placement coordinator, and the department, while promoting and maintaining best practice. A key function of the role will be maintaining and supporting the administrative requirements of practice placement and, of the sectoral stakeholders such as CORU. The successful candidates will carry out tasks appropriate to a Grade IV role as assigned by the relevant manager and will work closely with colleagues within the department, and across SETU's other functional areas.
