Assistant shop manager

Various locations in and around the West London.

Salary up to £22,842

My client is looking for a passionate, innovative and positive individual to help assist the manager of their shops. We are looking for someone who is willing to dedicate themselves into providing a high-quality and memorable experience for all customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the manager in day to day running of the shop
  • Working alongside the manager to recruit, train and motivate different volunteers
  • Selecting and pricing items correctly
  • Delivering great customer service at all times
  • Ensure that accurate cashing up is consistently up to date.
  • Ensure that completing weekly returns and dispatch documents is up to date.
  • Achieving and excelling agreed targets from the company
  • Managing the gift aid processes

About you:

Essential requirements for this position:

  • Excellent customer service, team working and communication skills
  • Great numeracy skills
  • Previous experience in working within a charity retail sector, either as an employee, volunteer or a background in high street retail
  • At least two year's previous experience in a retail environment
  • Previous experience or knowledge in selling and promoting a variety of products
  • Ability to create visual displays and shop layout to a great standard
