Assistant Professor: Modern Japanese History & Research

Trinity College Dublin is seeking an Assistant Professor in the History of Modern Japan. The successful candidate will engage in research and teaching relating to modern Japanese history, contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and supervise research. A PhD in History or a related field is mandatory. This specific-purpose contract position starts on 1 September 2026, with a salary ranging from €43,425 to €103,582 per annum, in line with public pay policy.
