Assistant Manager - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our shop in Castle Retail Park, Nottingham. This is a permanent, full time position requiring a fully flexible schedule across a 43 hour week, including at least one weekend shift.

Pay - Hours and Salary

• Hours: 43 hours across 5 days per week.
• Salary: £31,449.60 - £35,306.88 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to our customers.
• Be responsible for the development of your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and providing feedback.
• Be accountable for the shop in the absence of the shop manager and ensure that customers are looked after, deliveries are completed quickly, and shop routines are maintained to keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
• Take responsibility for motivating and guiding your team to control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Support the shop manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.

• Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
• Will be able to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if successful and offered the position.
