Assistant Manager - 40 Hours - Sweaty Betty

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model and motivate the team to embody brand values and maintain an inclusive, positive working atmosphere.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate role model behaviours.
• Assist in driving sales, commercialities and maintaining store standards, including compliance with policies.
• Communicate efficiently, both on the floor and behind the scenes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and community partners.
• Partner with the Store Manager to generate innovative marketing ideas.
• Take ownership of stock management and execute visual merchandising guidelines to achieve store KPIs.
• Act as product expert and trainer, educating the team and advising customers.
• Support store operations: opening/closing, cash handling, stock control, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Previous experience in a fast paced, customer facing retail environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Flexible schedule with mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for the brands and brand lifestyles.
• Self starter and ambitious result orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
