• Salary: The gross salary scale applicable to the grade of Assistant Lecturer is €47,572- €64,372 p.a. (rates effective 01/06/2026). The gross salary scale applicable to the grade of Lecturer is €69,625- €107,727 p.a. (rates effective 01/06/2026).

The Department of Nursing and Health Care seeks a highly motivated and committed health care professional with an expertise in the area of General Nursing and care to join a dynamic team of academic staff. The successful candidate will join a committed team of academics and teach across a range of programmes on offer in the Department of Nursing and Health Care. The Department of Nursing and Health Care offers a wide range of programmes in nursing and health care and has a suite of programmes ranging from QQI level 7 to 10. The position will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to teach, engage in research and supervise students across a myriad of programmes and projects.
