Assistant Lecturer - Irish Traditional Music

MTU Cork School of music are recruiting for an Assistant Lecturer in Irish Traditional Music, Permanent Whole Time Contract.

The position being advertised is aimed at a candidate who can demonstrate substantial expertise in Irish Traditional Music with cross-genre and multi-instrumentalist skills, teaching experience with advanced students, and an ability to support the CSM full-time degree programmes. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the department in these key areas through active involvement in promotion and recruitment. The Assistant lecturer will report to the Head of the Department of Pop, Jazz, Trad, Voice & Theatre Studies in the MTU Cork School of Music, located in Union Quay, Cork. They will be engaged in various relevant roles with the CSM, such as programme boards, department panels and other groups.
