OVERVIEW King's College London is recruiting an Assistant International Student Advisor to join the Visa & International Student Advice Team in London, England. This part-time role supports prospective and current international students by providing advice, guidance, and first contact support throughout the student experience. The position focuses on immigration queries, student transitions, and supporting students during their academic journey in the UK. The successful candidate will work with international students and contribute to a specialist service that helps students understand immigration legislation and access accurate guidance. The role is offered on an indefinite contract for 21 hours per week.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver advice and guidance related to immigration legislation
  • Support prospective and current students throughout their academic journey
  • Assist students with transitions and experiences in the UK
  • Work within the Visa & International Student Advice Team to support international student services
Requirements
  • Knowledge of issues facing overseas students
  • Experience providing advice and guidance
