Governors at Barford Primary School are seeking to appoint a permanent assistant headteacher. We aim for our assistant headteacher to be a valued member of our 'Barford family' and to contribute to our journey of raising standards. Our children expect their assistant headteacher to embody our Barford values and uphold our school's vision and ethos-striving to make our school the best it can be!

The role includes:

  1. Being an exemplary, experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated teacher willing to share in leadership and management.
  2. Playing a key role in the senior management team, helping to drive the school forward by promoting our vision and values in this strategic role.
  3. Having relevant management experience in KS1 and/or Early Years.
  4. Contributing to raising pupil standards through coaching and mentoring colleagues to ensure excellent practice in the phase.
