Key Responsibilities:

Depending on the role and setting, leadership responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the Headteacher and wider Senior Leadership Team
• Leading on school improvement and raising pupil outcomes
• Providing strategic leadership across curriculum, behaviour, SEND or pastoral areas
• Supporting staff development and effective teaching and learning
• Promoting high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare
• Using data and evidence to identify areas for development
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community
• Contributing to the school's strategic vision and development

What We're Looking For:

• QTS or recognised equivalent where required
• Current or recent experience in a school leadership or middle leadership role
• Strong understanding of school improvement and effective teaching and learning
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
• Experience in areas such as SEND, SEMH, behaviour, safeguarding, curriculum or pastoral leadership is welcomed
• A commitment to improving outcomes and opportunities for children and young people
• NPQ qualifications are desirable where relevant
• Open to a range of leadership opportunities across different school settings
