Interim Assistant Director of Adult Social Care

3-6 month contract Immediate start
£700-£800 per day (umbrella)
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Hybrid working - 2 days on site

• Lead operational delivery across adult social care services, ensuring quality and consistency
• Drive service improvement and regulatory readiness across all functions
• Take ownership of performance, risk and safeguarding responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with health, housing and voluntary sector partners
• Deliver transformation and modernisation in response to demand and financial pressures
• Embed strengths based practice, promote independence and achieve meaningful outcomes for residents

• Proven senior leadership experience within a local authority adult social care setting
• Strong knowledge of statutory duties, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
• Track record of delivering service transformation and improvement programmes
• Demonstrable ability to lead multi agency partnerships effectively
• Relevant professional qualifications and leadership credentials
