MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation in Belfast as they recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role:

Reporting to the Directors job duties of the Assistant Accountant will include:

• Assist with the timely production of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of month end reconciliations
• Assist with the timely production of the Group's VAT returns
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts
• Maintenance of intercompany accounts
• Any other duties outlined on the job description

The Person:

The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience in a working in a similar industry role
• Comfortable looking after accounts independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
