Assistant Accountant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturer based in Cookstown who are seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Company

The client is a well-established manufacturer with operations across the UK and Ireland. You'll be joining a stable, supportive finance team within a successful and growing organisation.

The Role

As the successful Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assisting with management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting)
• Supporting statutory accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
• Managing daily cash flow and supplier payment runs
• Preparing VAT returns (UK and ROI)

The Person

The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Part-qualified, qualified, or QBE
• Strong industry experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Confident working in a busy and collaborative team

The Rewards

As the successful Assistant Accountant, you will receive:

• Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000
