On behalf of our client; an international energy transition company with offices in seven countries they are seeking for a skilled professional to support the operation of solar PV assets in the Netherlands. The company develops and delivers clean energy solutions across the entire photovoltaic value chain, from project development and financing to construction, operation, maintenance, and energy management. Their mission is to contribute meaningfully to a consistent, global energy transition.

Role Overview

Our client currently operates several solar PV plants in the Netherlands, with additional assets scheduled to come online. To support these operations, they are looking to expand their team with a dedicated asset management professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical and financial performance of solar PV assets.
• Monitor KPIs and implement performance optimization strategies to enhance cost efficiency and revenue generation.
• Oversee commercial and operational planning, including coordination with service providers.
• Review and manage contracts related to operations, maintenance, and other services.
• Ensure daily operations meet regulatory, technical, and safety standards.
• Prepare operational reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with financial asset management and energy market teams.
• Coordinate with technical teams, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and investors.
• Maintain organized documentation (permits, contracts, inspection reports, warranties, etc.).
• Support the preparation of Commercial Operation & Performance Reports post-warranty period.
• Work closely with Technical Asset Management to ensure adherence to internal global standards.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in business with technical knowledge of power plant operations, or an engineering degree with commercial administration experience.
• Fluent Dutch speaker with professional proficiency in English.
• Proficient in SCADA systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management within the energy sector or related fields.
• Ideally, experience in operational asset management of energy systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of the energy market and energy commercialization.
• Awareness of the commercial impact of maintenance and operations on solar PV assets.
• Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented.
