Aspiring Broiler Farm Manager - Yorkshire

Are you an assistant manager or graduate looking for a pathway into farm management?

This family run farm are seeking an ambitious person to join their team as an Assistant Manager who they can train and develop to take over as farm manager within the first year of employment.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is driven, receptive to learning new ideas and committed to the highest standards of welfare. Previous poultry experience would be highly advantageous.

The successful candidate will benefit from a modern 3 bedroom house situated onsite and a competitive salary.

Your Role:

• Management of farm staff
• Upholding high welfare standards
• Control ventilation/feeding/drinking systems
• Vaccination
• Record keeping
• Monitoring and managing production
• Ordering feed and supplies
• Ensuring bio-security measures are adhered to
• Responsible for health and safety of employees

What you will have:

• Poultry experience
• NVQ level 3 qualification in Poultry Production or degree
• Driving license
• Ability to carry out manual duties
• Basic computer skills and experience of Microsoft Office
