A Behaviour / Pastoral / SEMH Support role allows you to:

• Mentor students one-to-one or in small groups to improve engagement and behaviour.
• Support interventions for SEMH, attendance, and wellbeing.
• Work with the pastoral team to create a positive school culture and inclusive environment.
• Assist with behaviour management in lessons and across the school site.
• Contribute to programmes that develop resilience, emotional regulation, and social skills.

Key focus areas include:

• Behaviour and engagement support
• SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) interventions
• Mentoring and guidance for vulnerable or disengaged students
• Supporting inclusion and positive school culture
• Communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution skills

What this role offers:

• Pay: £101.40-£130 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
• First hand experience in secondary school behaviour, pastoral, and SEMH support
• Opportunities to shadow experienced behaviour leads, pastoral teams, and inclusion specialists
• Ideal for graduates or aspiring behaviour/pastoral/SEMH professionals
• Develop skills in mentorship, empathy, communication, and resilience

This Secondary School Support role starts immediately and will run through the academic year, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position for the right candidate.
