Job Description
Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst - Birmingham

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent Full-time

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support a busy and expanding workload across Birmingham and the wider Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a dual qualified professional seeking strong job security, varied work, and long term progression.

This role offers a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.

The Role
  • Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
  • Undertaking air monitoring, including 4 stage clearances and reoccupation certification
  • Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring compliance with procedures
  • Producing accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248
  • Managing workload across multiple sites
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality
About You
  • BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role
  • Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance
  • Professional, organised, and reliable
  • Strong communication skills
