Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst

Job Overview

We are working closely with a reputable provider of Asbestos Management services across the UK, who are now looking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the South West of England. The role covers Commercial, Residential, Local Authority, and Public Sector sites, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical services in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines. The successful candidate will benefit from cross training into other environmental sectors, a competitive basic salary and generous holiday allowance.

Location

Consideration will be given to candidates from the following areas: Cheltenham, Moreton in March, Evesham, Stratford upon Avon, Banbury, Stroud, Cirencester, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Ludlow, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Dudley, Swindon, Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Malborough, Devizes, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallett.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent is essential.
• Experience working hands on as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
• Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
• Excellent communication and IT skills, able to produce reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
• Ability to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
• Additional qualifications in P401/P402/P403/P404/P404 or S301 CCP are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Work on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
• Ensure to carry out re inspection surveys upon completion of work.
• Conduct 4 stage clearances.
• Perform personal, leak, background, re assurance, and personal air testing.
• Work in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
• Produce detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
