Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst

Job Description

Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy and is one of the top players within the asbestos industry. Due to consistent growth, they are seeking a high calibre, committed, flexible, and multi skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around Croydon, covering a mixed portfolio of contracts. Candidates holding P402/P403 and those looking to gain further P certificates will be considered. Applications from Dartford, Epsom, Horley, Slough and surrounding areas are welcomed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Attained the P402/P403/P404 asbestos qualifications or an equivalent RSPH certificate.
• Hands on experience in asbestos surveying or asbestos air monitoring within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with the Health & Safety requirements pertaining to asbestos.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
• Good client facing and organisational skills.

Key Tasks

• Carry out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual 4 stage clearance, and re occupation plus personal air testing.
• Monitor asbestos contractors on site, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety procedures during asbestos removal work.
• Conduct asbestos Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various commercial and industrial buildings.
• Collate and produce comprehensive asbestos reports as required.
• Liaise with clients regularly, building strong working relationships.

• All rounder with a strong work ethic, capable of completing work effectively and within stipulated time frames.
• Flexibility to travel to sites as needed.
