Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Reading Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent Full-time

A well-established environmental consultancy is looking to recruit a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to support projects across Reading and the wider Berkshire region.

The Role

• Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264 guidance
• Survey a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic properties
• Identify and assess asbestos containing materials
• Produce accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Ensure all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance

Requirements

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited consultancy
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and guidance
• Good report writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage workload independently
• Full UK driving licence
