Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst
Location: Bexleyheath, Kent.
Salary / Benefits: 20,000 - 27,000.
Level of Experience: Asbestos Lab Analyst with future training of P Certs.

Profile

An independent and fast growing asbestos and environmental consultancy with a large presence across the UK is currently looking for a smart, conscientious, and reliable Asbestos Lab Analyst based in and around the Bexleyheath area. The ideal applicant will hold the P401 certificate and will have experience carrying out bulk analysis on asbestos samples within a laboratory setting. In return the company is also willing to provide further training of P Certs and development to the right candidate.

Applications will be considered from - Dartford, Orpington, Sidcup, Sevenoaks, South London, Maidstone, and Rochester.

Experience / Qualifications

• The successful Asbestos Lab Analyst must hold the P401 qualification.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment within the Asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Good attention to detail.

The Role

• Receiving and logging samples from the laboratory.
• Preparing samples.
• Carrying out analysis for fibre content.
• Report any analytical findings.
• Typing certificates of analysis.
• Completing record forms.
• Using and maintaining the laboratory equipment.
• Assisting with other duties as and when required.
