Asbestos Lab Analyst

About the Company

This well established and fast-growing asbestos company provides a variety of services to clients across the UK. Currently, they are actively seeking a reliable Asbestos Lab Analyst in and around the Croydon area. The client will consider applications from both part time and full time candidates. Applications from, Wallington, Mitcham, Sutton, Bromley, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must hold the P401 asbestos certificate.
• Must have previous experience working in an asbestos lab environment undertaking asbestos analysis of bulk samples.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have proficient IT skills including competency in using Microsoft Office Package.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Key Duties

• Receiving and appropriately logging samples received into the laboratory.
• Preparing samples for analysis.
• Carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.
• Reporting analytical findings and completing analysis test sheets.
• Assisting with any other duties as required.
