Asbestos Lab Analyst - Eastbourne

Job Description

An asbestos/environmental consultancy offers professional advice and services in relation to asbestos and is seeking to recruit an Asbestos Lab Analyst in and around the Eastbourne area. The applicant must hold the Asbestos P401 qualification. Applications from Brighton, Hastings, Hailsham, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Carry out analysis of asbestos bulk samples to determine asbestos content with reference to HSE publication MDHS 77.
• Book samples received from the site into the laboratory, producing asbestos reports and typing certificates detailing the sample analysis findings.
• Liaise with clients daily regarding asbestos queries.
• Adhere to relevant Health and Safety procedures in relation to asbestos.

Qualifications

• Holder of the Asbestos P401 qualification.
• Flexible, IT literate and possessing good communication skills.

Salary range: £18,000 - £60,000. We are recruiting for asbestos clients throughout the UK.
