Due to recent expansion, this well-established asbestos removals company, who provides the full range of asbestos removal, demolition and remediation services, is now looking to employ an experienced and confident Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager in the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will hold a proven track record of pricing and running of asbestos removal projects. Applications from East Kilbride, Hamilton, Edinburgh, Paisley, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working within a contracts manager role within the removals industry.
• Will ideally hold the ARCA/ACAD asbestos contract manager qualification.
• Excellent working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislations/procedures.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.

Role

• Contract Managing Asbestos Removal projects.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the correct Health & Safety procedures.
• Completing risk assessments, method statements, writing tenders, PPQs, specifications and ASB5 notifications.
• Pricing and scheduling asbestos removal works.
• Conducting site quality checks / audits.
• Assessing potential contracts.
• Training and developing teams of supervisors / operatives.
• Organisation of staff to achieve completion of contracts.
• Collating and producing management reports in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with Health & Safety training/issues.
• Liaising with the company's clients in a professional manner.
