Asbestos Consultant/Quality Manager - Chelmsford

Job Description

Our client is a well established and successful UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy that provides a wide range of asbestos and environmental services across the South East of England. Due to recent expansion, the firm is actively recruiting a hard working and reliable Asbestos Consultant/Quality Manager based in or around the Chelmsford area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently undertaking lead asbestos projects and looking to further develop their career.

Qualifications

• Must hold P402/P403/P404 qualifications or an equivalent asbestos certificate.
• Ideally from a technical, quality, auditing or management background.
• Significant experience in a similar role within a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy.
• Experience in undertaking asbestos surveying and analytical duties.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and IT proficiency.
• Ability to organise and manage own workload with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos surveys and site analytical work.
• Assist in managing and updating the company's Quality Systems.
• Conduct localised QC/auditing.
• Assist with UKAS accreditation auditing in accordance with regulations.
• Provide training to clients and staff.
• Ensure the company maintains technical and quality competence in all areas of work.
• Travel to sites, advise clients on quality systems and resolve any issues effectively.
• Liaise with other managers and directors.
