Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst

Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent Full-time

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst to join its growing laboratory team in Worthing. This position is focused on bulk asbestos analysis, offering a consistent workload within a modern UKAS-accredited laboratory.

The Role
  • Analysing bulk asbestos samples in accordance with UKAS and HSE guidance
  • Accurately recording and reporting analytical results
  • Maintaining laboratory quality standards and procedures
  • Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated where required
  • Supporting the wider laboratory team with daily operations
  • Working efficiently to meet turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy
About You
  • BOHS P401 (essential)
  • Previous experience working as a Bulk Asbestos Analyst
  • Experience within a UKAS-accredited laboratory preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach
