Job Description
Aruba Network Engineer - 12 Months - Dublin
This is a senior, onsite technical engineering role based in Dublin. The position focuses on delivering expert network solutions, with a strong emphasis on Aruba technologies. The successful candidate will design, implement, document, and assure network services for an enterprise-scale environment. Solutions must be deployed to established standards before being transitioned to operational support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and deliver high-quality technical solutions approved by internal and customer stakeholders.
- Produce detailed low-level designs and implementation guides in line with best-practice standards.
- Build, configure, and stage network environments for headquarters, branches, and distribution sites.
- Implement and support network upgrades, deployments, and go-lives, including occasional out-of-hours work.
- Ensure all deployments follow change management procedures to minimise service impact.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge across multiple networking technologies.
- Apply deep understanding of product behaviour and industry best practices.
- Conduct peer reviews of pre-sales technical proposals to ensure smooth deployment feasibility.
- Ensure all designs include appropriate network management, monitoring, and capacity planning elements.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical escalation support for all accountable networks and services.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve complex hardware/software issues.
- Contribute to problem resolution and produce root-cause analysis documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rota when required.
- Deliver systems and product training to internal teams and customers.
- Work cross-functionally to support major incident resolution.
- Communicate clearly and adapt messaging for different technical and non-technical audiences.
- Influence continuous improvement across processes, standards, and customer experience.
Required Experience:
- 4+ years' engineering experience in a large, complex environment.
- Proven ability to deliver customer solutions on schedule.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid background in WAN/LAN design and routing/switching protocols.
- Experience contributing to pre-sales or bid activities.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness and ability to quickly master new technologies.
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Aruba technologies.
- Aruba Wireless expertise.
- Aruba ClearPass experience.
Highly Desirable/Desirable
- Aruba ACMP certification.
- Experience with IMC, Aruba AirWave, or Aruba Central.
- HP Master ASE or Aruba ACSP certification.
- Cisco certification (CCNP level).
- Knowledge of Firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).
Contract Details:
- Duration: 12-month contract

- Rate: 400 Per Day - 500 Per Day
