Job Title: Artic Driver

Reports to: Transport Manager

About the Company: DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 37 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Purpose of the role: Deliver bulk freight around Ireland and conduct daily collections from depots and customer sites. Multiple positions available for day and night teams operating Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver freight to any DPD depot on the island of Ireland.
• Load and unload freight at DPD depots.
• Collect freight from customer sites.
• Act professionally and build excellent customer relationships.
• Maintain and care for your vehicle, including daily walk around checks.
• Adopt safe driving conduct in line with road rules and local legislation.
• Fully adhere to RSA requirements.

Experience Required:

• Good knowledge of Irish roads.

Experience Preferred:

• 2 years Artic driving experience in a similar role.
• Experience with multi drop deliveries.
• Tail lift and pallet truck experience.

Qualifications Required:

• Full clean EC driving license.
• Valid CPC with all modules completed and up to date.
• Digital Tachograph card.

• Highly motivated with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Warehouse Operative - Night Operations

Job Title: Warehouse Operatives - Night Operations

Department: Hub Operations

Reports to: Hub Supervisor and Team Lead

About the Company: DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 37 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Purpose of the role: Maintain an efficient flow of goods by unloading delivery trucks, processing items through sorting systems, and reloading them onto trailers safely and quickly. Fixed term contract up to 23rd December 2026.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load parcels onto conveyor systems.
• Unload parcels from sorter.
• Load trailers loosely, palletised, and/or onto cages.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping.
• Operate variations in job role as required.
• Inventory and stock control.

Experience Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse.
