Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking Art Teachers for Lower, Middle, and Upper School positionsbeginning in Fall 2026 at private and independent schools in the Greater Boston area.

Teaching assignments ranging from, but are not limited to:
- Studio Art (Drawing, Painting, Printmaking)
- Sculpture
- Fiber arts
- Ceramics
- Digital Media
- Graphic Design
- Develop and teach engaging visual arts curriculum for Lower, Middle, and/or Upper School students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and artistic expression.
- Teach a range of artistic techniques, media, and processes, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, digital art, or mixed media.
- Display and celebrate student work through exhibitions, school events, galleries, and other community opportunities.
- Evaluate each student's progress in their knowledge and skills.
- Communicate with parents to discuss the individual student's progress
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, and professional development sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience strongly preferred.
- Passion for visual art, art history, and the fine arts.
- Knowledge of varied teaching strategies to differentiate learning.
- Eager to work collaboratively with other teachers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. Work Authorization required.
- Desire to be involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Compensation and benefit packages are competitive but will differ by school and will typically depend on geographic location, your experience, and your level of degree.
