Carrier now has an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (Service) to focus on the London area.
What will I be doing?
- Establish prospects and develop professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest suitable products and/or services.
- Engage in continuous professional development through company-provided and on-the-job training, including business, finance, marketing, sales strategies, and public speaking.
- Coordinate and/or participate in trade shows and marketing/sales seminars as required.
- Price equipment & service solutions to prospective customers to grow the business.
- Develop new sales within the geographical area, expanding service offerings with existing clients.
- Evaluate market potential and identify sales opportunities in related sectors.
- Estimate project opportunities and prepare proposals with contractors, FM, M&E, and building owners.
- Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors.
- Complete sales calls/meetings to generate new business and strengthen existing relationships.
- Present solutions to customers and secure new contracts.
Requirements
We seek candidates who are good communicators (verbal, written, presentation), self-motivated, target-focused, with strong time management, organizational, negotiating, and strategic planning skills. Flexibility, adaptability, enthusiasm, positive outlook, teamwork, commitment to customer service, and a drive for excellence are essential.
Minimum requirements include:
- Strong service sales background
- Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a bonus or the ability to quickly acquire relevant knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make calls to prospective customers, handle inquiries, and convert them into project wins and revenue
- UK Driving Licence
- IT literacy with MS Office skills
