Job Description

Gekko have a great opportunity to join their field based team of Area Sales Manager (aka: Market Managers) working on behalf of a global technology brand, evolving their ground-breaking OEM hardware product portfolio.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in a sales and retail environment within the consumer electronics/IT sector.

Your Package:

Salary £32,000 + 10% bonus scheme

Full time, 12 month contract

22 days paid holiday (per annum) in addition to bank holidays

Your Role:

The core responsibilities of this position include:

Develop store relationships at regional and store management level

Deliver proactive, reliable support to store teams and management, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed.

Work closely with retail partners to take ownership of sales uplift.

Strengthen and elevate the brand's presence in the marketplace.

Inspire retail partners by leading training programs to empower them with the knowledge to deliver an outstanding customer experience

Oversee the rollout of retailer programs within your territory, ensuring smooth execution and success.

The Market Manager role is ideal for those who are able to demonstrate the following:

Leadership skills gained from retail management level in a tech-based environment is key

Strong analytical skills to manage sales and hit targets.

Influential communicator with the ability to build senior-level relationships.

Training expertise with a talent for developing others.

Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Proactive and professional, always striving for high standards.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Full UK driving licence

Gekko are a full service field marketing and experiential agency working across retail, B2B and digital channels. This field based opportunity covers the Leeds and Lincolnshire region of the UK (ideal candidates are to be based in the Leeds area) with nationwide travel as required. A full driving licence is required as this is a field based role.
