It's ideally suited to a proven multi-site leader from supermarkets, convenience or food retail, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.What you'll be doing as an Area Manager

• Delivering profitable sales growth across your area through strong execution and clear commercial focus
• Creating and implementing area business plans, using regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement
• Leading Store Managers to deliver high standards in availability, merchandising, customer experience and store operations
• Driving consistency in processes, policies and ways of working to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Using data and insight to identify trends, address root causes and implement practical solutions
• Building a strong customer-focused culture, ensuring stores reflect local needs and deliver a great shopping experience
• Taking ownership of key people metrics including labour, absence and retention across your area

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Area Manager or in a multi-site leadership role within food retail, supermarkets or convenience
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience delivering sales, profit and cost targets
• A deep understanding of high-volume retail operations, including availability, replenishment and store standards
• A hands-on leader who can coach, challenge and develop Store Managers effectively
• Experience building talent pipelines and developing future leaders
• Able to identify root causes, simplify processes and drive practical improvements
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating with pace and urgency
