Architectural Technician

Your new companyYou will be joining a company that specialises in retail design and architecture and has succeeded in having a growing portfolio of renowned clients and exciting projects. They are looking for an Architectural Technician that will play a key role in the development and execution of architectural projects from concept to completion.Your new roleYou will be working as an Architectural Assistant completing daily tasks such as:

• Utilise industry-standard software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup to generate detailed plans and drawings that accurately reflect design intent and meet project specifications.
• Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to gather essential data for project planning, identifying site-specific constraints and opportunities.
• Collate and organise technical data and documentation to support project planning, implementation, and decision-making processes.
• Evaluate design plans to identify potential risks and propose mitigating strategies to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a focus on retail projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software applications.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
