Job Title Architectural Technician - BIM (12-Month Contract) Summary We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician with strong BIM expertise to join a leading high-tech project in Kildare, Ireland. This role is ideal for candidates with proven Revit and AutoCAD experience and a strong understanding of building regulations. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality architectural outputs for a complex, multidisciplinary project. Salary Competitive contractor rates. Location and Working Pattern Kildare, Ireland - Full-time, on-site Client Overview Our client is a global engineering consultancy known for delivering technical excellence on complex projects across advanced manufacturing, life sciences and technology sectors. They offer an engaging and collaborative work environment focused on quality and innovation. Responsibilities Deliver LOD300 architectural BIM models, ensuring accuracy, coordination and compliance with project standards. Prepare planning drawings, site layouts, elevations and statutory submission documentation. Produce detailed CAD drawings for design development, tender and construction phases. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions. Apply knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and international standards for code-compliant designs. Support creation of design documentation, specifications, schedules and technical reports. Maintain quality assurance processes, ensuring consistency and traceability across all deliverables. Must-have Requirements Proficiency in Revit BIM and AutoCAD within design or engineering consultancy environments. Demonstrated capability to produce coordinated LOD300 architectural models. Experience preparing planning packs and statutory submission drawings. Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and associated technical guidance. Ability to interpret engineering inputs into clear architectural outputs. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and communication abilities. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams. Nice-to-have Skills Exposure to advanced manufacturing, life sciences or pharmaceutical projects. Familiarity with BIM execution plans, clash detection and model coordination workflows. Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam or similar collaboration tools.
