Architect Job DescriptionAs a professional hub of the Department of Support and Housing (DIRHEB), the Elderly Age Center (PGPA) is tasked with providing support and housing for individuals aged 65 and older residing in the canton. To strengthen its competencies within a multidisciplinary structure, PGPA is seeking an Architect.Responsibilities- Ensure the role of project manager for investment in extension, renovation, and maintenance primarily of medical-social establishments (EMS) and possibly of medically equipped psycho-social establishments (EPSM).- Apply and contribute to improving the legal framework related to investments in the extension, renovation, and maintenance of EMS.- Participate in the canton's allocation of beds for elderly care.- Contribute internally to the DSAS and with external entities.- Collaborate in the development and monitoring of temporary reception centers throughout the canton.For further details, please consult the specifications by clicking here or contact Ms. X, Head of PGPA, at the email address provided.Requirements- Degree from an EPF or HES architectural school or recognized equivalent is required.- Minimum of 8 years of experience, with X in leading architectural projects in construction economics desired.- Experience in monitoring the real estate market (prices, leases, architectural safety requirements, etc.) and in architectural projects (projects, plans, budgets, work execution, etc.) is preferred.- Excellent writing skills and good verbal expression are essential, along with sound time management skills.- Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities are required.WHO ARE WE?The General Directorate of Social Cohesion (DGCS) offers residents of the Canton of Vaud support and integration measures, housing in medical-social institutions, as well as financial assistance.
